The Hundreds SS21 Reverts To Early 2000s LA Streetwear Culture

The Hundreds is back with its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, and this time the popular brand is taking fans back in time to when streetwear was fearless and free-thinking.

The early 2000s was an exciting era that saw the industry move from analog to digital and the streets to the internet. The Hundreds were at the forefront of “blog” culture, drawing fans worldwide to LA’s streetwear culture. The SS21 collection pays homage to the streetwear freedom of the era, inspired by the care-free trial and error styling of the youth.

The Hundreds has revived the early 2000s camos and shadow plaids that ruled the day, reworking them into contemporary timeless pieces. The collection features eye-catching headwear that combines ageless elements, yet still, maintain its sporty feel.

This collection’s graphic tees take wearers back to their young adult years, where an abundance of color and over-emphasized visuals became the centerpiece for the apparel. The Hundreds has also included pullover windbreaker jacket dressed in color blocking hues of red, green and blue. Fans can also expect a number of The Hundreds-branded long sleeves and sweaters heavily inspired by the 2000s’ logo-centric designs, with each individual item visibly highlighting The Hundreds name.

It should be noted that the lookbook itself is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, taking viewers back to the magazine era of the early-2000s.

The collection is available starting February 4 at midnight EST online at The Hundreds, at its Los Angeles store and select stockists worldwide.

Elsewhere in nostalgic fashion collections, W.ESSENTIÉLS x FAITH x Bandai Namco revive Pac-Man in a triple collab.
