Official Images Of The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Dark Iris”

First teased in August 2020 as part of sacai‘s Spring/Summer ’21 lookbook, the Nike VaporWaffle “Dark Iris” has recently emerged in official images.

Maintaining the same layered construction last seen during the Holiday 2020 season, the forthcoming collaboration pairs the aforementioned purple tone with “Campfire Fire” and rich navy hues. Stacked co-branding appears on the tongue, insole and heel, just as it did on the LD Waffle. Underfoot, waffle-pattern tread indulges in a standard “Black” makeup, while the robust midsole maintains a “White” and slightly-yellowed aesthetic, ostensibly nodding to the original Waffle Racer from 1972.
