Mackage Unveils Cozy Outerwear for FW21

Following the announcement of the launch of its new flagship store in New York, Canadian outerwear specialist Mackage unveils its latest Fall/Winter 2021 collection.

With the past year of confinement blurring the lines between work and leisure, the brand’s inspiration came from how the home has now transcended into permanent sanctuaries. The collection itself reflects the desire to experience the outdoors through design functionality not compromising comfort. Mackage’s mission aims to provide consumers with peace of mind, having expanded into partnering with sustainability-focused companies throughout the supply chain whilst also prioritizing quality over quantity backed by lifetime guarantees.

Split into two parts; “Soft Protection” adopts a feeling of cocooning inspired by the safety of the home, personified through minimalism, sensitive materials and performance quality. In this, you’ll find an array of both men’s and women’s puffer jackets, trench coats and rider jackets in a color palette ranging from glacier white to more subtle beige whilst including more graphic-led prints such as plaid and tartan.

The second part, “Unexpected Outdoor,” sees Mackage’s contemporary take on military aesthetics, blending the city and country in a hybrid of utilitarian comfort. Functional fleece-lined bomber jackets, fleece sweaters and tactical vests adorn this part of the collection with prominent branding across all jackets. Olive greens, blacks and oranges keep in line with the army theme contrasted by its aqua and cognac counterparts.

Alongside the standout outerwear pieces, the collection also features a selection of accessories and bags including two winter-boot silhouettes — Hero and Warrior — that are built for snowy terrains.
